School
The last three years I have been at three different schools. They have been good and bad, easy and hard, fun and boring. All of the schools started at different times and ended at different times.
Have you ever had to move to a new place, and make new friends? I have moved to a new school five times and I have moved to a new house and make new friends many times. I have moved to many different places and schools but I am only going to talk about three schools.
One of my favorite schools was New Lisbon, I can remember so much about New Lisbon because I went there from 1st to 4th grade. At New Lisbon School, I made many friends, though only a few of them were real friends, I can only remember one person who was a real friend. I thought that they ran their school pretty well, they even had a gym for Elementary, Middle, and High school, and the middle school gym was also the cafeteria. Some advantages of New Lisbon are they had all of the schools together. Some disadvantages are, that the bus ride was about an hour long, and I had to get up at 6:00 in the morning to get on the bus.
When I moved to Tomah, I had to go to Lemonweir, where I met a bunch of people I didn't know, though the first day the teacher mainly talked. I was surprised when I saw someone who left New Lisbon at Tomah Middle school. They had something called WIN, work in now, which was very similar to detention, except you could talk to people at lunch. Some advantages are, they had all classes on one floor, and each grade was in the same area. Some disadvantages are that the teachers and people weren’t very nice, and they had really loud bells.
When I had to move again, I moved down here, the first day I was helped learn about Horizon by two people. It was weird being down here; it was like I never moved up north. The school I am going to is Asa Clark, which is the best school I have been to so far. Some advantages of Asa Clark are, Academy 21, good teachers, they end school at 2:45, the people are nice, and they have laptops. A disadvantage is they start school at 7:30 in the morning.
Because I have been at so many different schools I have met many different people, and seen many different places. I have also had to get up at different times to get to school with different starting times, make new friends and get used to living in many different places. There have also been many good and bad experiences.
